CURRENT SHOP INFO-

As at April 2nd 2024 the SHOP section of this website is on a break. The items are viewable but checkout is not functioning.

WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF ‘MUCH’ FOR FREQUENCY OF EMAILS THAT YOU WILL SEND YOUR SUBSCRIBERS.

Here is a secret for you.

I only started sending emails just before I relaunched my website.

Nothing annoys me more than being bombarded left and right with updates daily or even weekly, even if it is a brand I like. 

This is why I pinky promise not to do that to you!

My definition of- I won’t bother you ‘Much’ is roughly 6-10 times a year if that! (It is much more likely be less!)

It will only be to share some eye popping news or to offer you something for FREE or a DISCOUNT CODE. 

I also won’t be annoyed if you unsubscribe, but it won’t be because I am bothering you too much.

 

YOUR CHECKOUT IS NOT WORKING! WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO SHOP?

Sorry for the inconvenience but you can always purchase by PayPal invoice if my website checkout is on a break. The SHOP section of my website is only opened at certain times for new collection launches. Please email me outside of these times if there is something you are wanting to purchase or if you have a voucher or discount code you are wanting to use. I also have external shops that are always open selling products with my designs on fabric, prints etc.

ARE THERE EXCLUSIONS ON VOUCHERS & OR DISCOUNT CODES?

Generally discount codes like 10% off etc are valid for all items listed in the shop section of my website except pre-order T-Shirts. If the voucher applies to these items it will be noted. Vouchers and codes can not be used for my third party stores like Spoonflower, Society6 or any other collaborations that may be current including POD fabric. 

* Some vouchers and discounts may be able to be used for payment toward commissioned artwork and will be stated at the time of issue. If unsure please feel free to check in. 

** Only one discount can be used per purchase.

Eg- Free shipping can not be combined with a percentage off unless stated. A dollar value discount can not be used in conjunction with a 20% off code.

WOULD YOU EVER CREATE REALLY MINIMALISTIC ARTWORKS BY COMMISSION OR FOR LICENSING?

Nope, Nada, No, Nooooooo!

I am all about the details in my personal and commissioned artwork! I don't do plain blue abstracts with a sliver of white. I just don't feel like an artwork is me if i am told exactly what i have to create and if lots and lots of details are not allowed.

 

 

I NEED A TECHNICAL LOGO AND OR BRANDING IS THIS A SERVICE YOU OFFER?

No, sorry.

This type of design is a specialty area of which I am not accomplished (Formal Graphic Design) I actually have my own branding/business cards & logo professionally done and I can highly recommend having someone who knows and enjoys what they doing, do it for you. If you are after Statement Illustrations and Patterns that could be used on marketing material that is more my thing!

 

DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE?

Yes, but at this stage i only consider it on prints, greeting cards and acrylic earrings etc...

DO YOU OFFER 'SHOE/BOOT/JACKET ART' BY PERSONAL COMMISSION?

Yes I do. (Usually.)

See the commissions section for more info on what I mean by that.

If I am unable to fulfill an enquiry, I do take suggestions regarding design topics and sizing for future releases. My current hand painted boots available for immediate purchase are listed on my website.

Pricing for custom hand painted boots is on a case by case basis but will generally be higher than prices displayed for ready to purchase pieces due to communication required and custom nature of the work and is highly dependent on the shoe/boot in question. (See base pricing in the Commissions section of this website for more information.)

 

WILL YOUR ARTWORK LOOK LIKE IT DOES ON THIS WEBSITE?

Hopefully it looks better?

Please remember though, that colouring of prints and originals may differ slightly from the colours you may be seeing due to monitor displays being individual.

 

WHERE ARE YOUR T-SHIRTS PRINTED?

My T-Shirts are designed in Ballarat and printed in Queensland Australia.

The shirts are DTG printed on quality AS Colour brand garments mainly their cotton “Ringer” and “Maple” & “Staple” style T-Shirts.

I tested a number of printers and T-Shirts before deciding on a provider as I would never knowingly sell a poor quality garment and I wanted to know about their business practices before I felt confident using them for my orders.

BTW I personally inspect each and every printed shirt before it is posted out to ensure the condition is tip top which means turnaround time can be between 4-6 weeks.

 

WHAT IF I ORDER THE WRONG SIZE?

I recommend you measure a T-Shirt you have at home and read the listings carefully prior to ordering as the T-Shirts are individually printed to your design selection and sizing requirement. If you unsure please get in touch prior to placing the order as exchanges are subject to terms as well as postage costs which will be borne by the purchaser. Generally refunds and returns only apply to faulty items not change of mind or incorrect customisation. There is more information regarding this in the POLICY section of the website.

 

YOU DON’T HAVE MY SIZE!

I am just starting out with T-Shirt designs and understand how important it is to be inclusive. The T-Shirts to date that I have found to be of the best quality and print in a manner I am happy with have set sizing that I unfortunately am not able to control. I have chosen two different styles of T-Shirts and cater for two different sizing charts for each of them to try and cater for as many individuals as possible. I am always here to field feedback and suggestions that may cater to sizing I am not able to currently offer.

 

I LOVE YOUR DESIGN BUT HATE THE T-SHIRT COLOUR, CAN YOU DO PINK?

Maybe!?
I generally only sell designs on colours I have actually sampled to ensure that I get what I expect in terms of colour and quality.

There are a whole range of colours possible for the “Maple” and “Staple” styles of T-Shirts so if you are desperate for a yellow, red or pink T-Shirt then give me a yell to see what I can do!

 

I WOULD LIKE A KIDS SIZE T-SHIRT, DO YOU HAVE THOSE? 

My product listings are for adult sizing only at this stage.

If you are wanting a particular design in a kids size please send me an email to discuss.

 

DO YOU CUSTOM DESIGN T-SHIRTS? 

I license some of my existing designs for other businesses to use on their products as well as create new works for this purpose.

I can also create a one off design for personal use which includes the file of the design which can be used in unlimited ways for personal applications and one printed T-Shirt. Please contact me via email for a quote.

P.S. If you see a design of mine I haven’t turned into a T-Shirt but you would like one I may be able to have one printed. (Cost may be slightly higher than a pre tested design.) 

HOW DO I WASH MY T-SHIRT TO KEEP IT LOOKING SPESH?

To keep your 100% cotton T-Shirt looking great wash after wash it is suggested that you-

* Wash inside out on a cold, gentle cycle.

* Do Not, i repeat DO NOT tumble dry! (It is already preshrunk so…..don’t go there.)

* Iron inside out. 


* Do not dry in direct sunlight.

 

 

WHAT IS AN ONGOING PRE- ORDER?

This just means that I do not hold stock as ready to post as I do not know what will sell/be popular and it is wasteful and not cost effective to have large amounts of stock sitting dormant.

Rather than open and close orders the listings remain active.

When you Pre-Order your product selection is ordered within two weeks of the order being placed (or weekly dependent on volume) and your item will be sent thereafter. As there are third party printers involved this can take up to 6 weeks. Please allow 4-6 weeks as a guide. This allows me time to order, receive, check and post the items to you. Please note that if your are purchasing from a country other than Australia please add transit time to these estimates.

Sale does not transfer copyright. Copying, reproducing or distributing my work in any manner without my written permission and is strictly prohibited. (Not cool either!) Purchase of work (either print or original) does not transfer copyright, distribution or reproduction rights to you.

Included in this is my witty website content ....believe that!

* Full buyout is a different story but you will definitely know if this has occurred as there will be a big old contract entered into. I can however license custom designs especially for your business on a permanent basis under contract that states that I retain copyright but you are the only user of the design on an ongoing basis.

 

 

 

 PRODUCT INFORMATION-

 

CARE & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR EARRINGS & BROOCHES-

The acrylic earrings and brooches as per notes on each listing are assembled with care using non-toxic and or hypoallergenic materials wherever possible.

Each item is checked prior to postage and leaves my studio in fantastic wearable condition.

 

To care for your items once they reach you the following advices are recommended-

* Be gentle with your items. Although acrylic is durable it may not stack up if dropped or stepped on. Resin is used to adhere posts and brooch backs so generally this is very sturdy if treated well. 

* Do not shower, swim or submerge your items in water.

Although UV printing on acrylic is used it is only recommend to wipe down with a polishing cloth. Avoid contact with perfumes and creams etc to keep the colour banging!

Avoid excessive handling,  especially on OOAK hand painted acrylic pieces. These OOAK items have been prepped with gesso, painted with high quality products and sealed but constant touching of the painted design could cause discolouration.

* Sleeping in them is a No, No as is letting small children play with them. These items are NOT A TOY and may contain small parts and or sharp objects. Although care has been taken to fix items well and use safety brooch backs please follow safety warnings.

" Wear 'em or display 'em like a prized ornament BUT whatever you do treat 'em like the OOAK art they are! In other words: Don't be kicking walls when your BF, GF, Hubs, Wifey, Kids, Boss, Neighbour....anyone really, gives you the shits!! Also it goes without saying doesn't it!? to not be diving into pools or walking on hot coals with these babies on!! (Not safe for you or your boots/shoes.) Just be nice to them, OK!?"

 

 

 RETURNS, POSTAGE & PACKAGING-

No, sorry!

Please be aware that if you order pre order/made to order items with ready to ship items your parcel will not be posted until all items are ready to dispatch. If you need something quicker please make seperate orders.

 

CAN I GET A REFUND OR RETURN FOR "CHANGE OF MIND" 

No. Please choose carefully with all purchases as a great deal of artwork is OOAK or Pre-order/Made to order which means listings are printed/made to your specifications which mean you must read the listings carefully as these can not be exchanged for incorrect sizing etc as stock is not held. Please reach out for any clarification prior to order. If there are any issues with a purchase please see the related policy regarding REFUNDS & RETURNS as this will explain timeframes that apply to purchases and when and if returns and or refunds apply.

We adhere to ACCC standards as far as Refunds and Returns are concerned.

 

DOES POSTAGE COST A FORTUNE?

I charge what it costs me in postage/packing and handling only or at times actually less.

Commissioned art is sent either by Australia Post or Courier and is insured to the value of the work in case of damage or loss as many hours are invested into your special pieces.

*These postage amounts are usually quoted individually.

Standard website purchased items are at a set amount. The current prices can be viewed under 'SHIPPING' policy on this website. (There is also a breakdown in the Shipping policy section of this website.)

If your country is not accounted for please let me know and I can see if I can amend the shipping options.  NOTE- *I do not post to countries that require the seller to be VAT registered.

 

 

CHARGES-

**Single Greeting Cards ship FREE within Australia at the current time.

All other “SHOP” listed items (internal products) are a flat rate of $10.00 postage and handling within Australia. (tracked)

***At times I may have a promotion of free post over a certain dollar value for items listed on the website that can be immediately purchased and or on certain items. (This will be listed in the product listing if it applies to a specific item.) This is subject to change.

 

 

DO YOU POST OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA?

Yes. Kind of. At times there may be restrictions or sanctions imposed by postal services therefore the option to check out internationally is not always available.

*Shipping is usually available to the United States.

NOTE- Breakables are not able to be shipped internationally. 

DO YOU TAKE CARE WITH YOUR PACKAGING?

Damn straight!

All parcels are packed with care & being an overthinker I generally go way, way overboard with my packaging.

Prints are mailed with a backboard and or a "do not bend" mailer to ensure they arrive flat, not trashed!

Canvas artworks are boxed and bubble wrapped to within an inch of their life.

Shoes and Boots are securely boxed. (Trust me!)

Wearable art- earrings, brooches etc are securely packaged in boxes and or satchels dependent on quantity.

All other items recieve the same treatment so if your parcel turns up in shit condition....it wasn't me! Ha, ha.

 

DISPLAY/ONLY-

Some items like plates that have been upcycled may be listed as ‘display only’ as although non toxic products have been used they are not food safe. They are actually intended to be treated like a canvas or a print which means handling with care and not exposing to the elements.


 
PAYMENT OPTIONS-

DO YOU HAVE AFTERPAY OR LAY-BY?

At the current time neither are available through my website however if you use PayPal you may have the option to use PayPal pay in 4 at checkout. As a PayPal customer if you are eligible it allows payments for purchases between $30.00 and $1500.00  to be paid in four equal payments. Please refer to the PayPal website for full terms and conditions and the most up to date information.
